Top British Bake Off Crushes

The Great British Bake Off is back, so we thought we would take a look back at the men and women that have baked their hearts out and won ours.

Ready, steady, take your pick!

1) Cathryn Dresser – 2012

Cathryn

Funny Cathryn had us charmed throughout the series, as did her bakes. She certainly took our fondant fancy!

2) Tamal Ray – 2015

Tamal

Tamal made it through to the final, and narrowly missed out, but he was a winner in our eyes. He was one baker we didn’t want to say good rye to!

3) Ruby Tandoh – 2013

Ruby

With her adorable charm and brilliant baking skills, Ruby managed to win us all over, even Paul Hollywood. She was a total choux stopper!

4) John Waite – 2012

John

Despite some baking errors along the way, law student John went on the win his series. We’d certainly like him to whisk us away!

5) Joanne Wheatley – 2011

Joanne

Joanne also won her series, with her happy demeanour and homely bakes, we quickly became her biggest flan!

6) Edd Kimber – 2010

Edd

The first ever bake off winner Edd blew everyone away with his culinary skills. We thought he was muffin short of brilliant!

7) Flora Shedden – 2015

Flora

Flora balanced Bake Off with her university studies and won the hearts of many with her affable personality. She really bowled us over!

8) Richard Burr- 2014

Richard

Handy-man Richard was crowned baker of the week 6 weeks in a row after wowing the judges. His treats were the icing on the cake for us too.

9) Nancy Birtwhistle – 2014

Nancy

Nancy’s homely bakes and cheery attitude helped her take first place. Nancy really floured into one of our favourites.

10) Selasi Gbormittah – 2016

Selasi

New comer Selasi is hands down this year’s heart throb! We are only a week in and he is already causing a stir among viewers!

Until next time,
