Recently we’ve done a lot of blogging (and even more tweeting) about the Sex & London City Single Girl Seminar – which we were proud sponsors of. The event took place last Saturday at The Arch hotel in London. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco by our lovely host, Nixalina (seen below posing with the Just Singles sweet cart!). It was a pleasure to finally meet Nixalina in person having worked with her on our 3 Dates 3 Months Challenge.

As we walked into the very swanky Martini Library room, a sea of pink goody bags decorated every chair. Being a Sex & London City event, it was unsurprising that the goody bags contained a few saucy surprises, including a We-Vibe vibrator and Vibe ring, a box of Durex‘s new Skin condoms and Freya lingerie. There was also a free 6 week healthy eating plan from celebrity personal trainer Scott Laidler – which we definitely needed after raiding the sweet cart!

The seminar was a chance for Nixalina to reinforce her view that being single shouldn’t be viewed as something negative…

“Think of yourself as being single because you’ve put value on yourself and you know what you’re worth!”

Nixalina had some hilarious personal dating stories to tell, and shared her tips on approaching men. She also questioned why single women over 30 are labelled crazy cat ladies whilst single men over 30 are celebrated as George Clooney-esque bachelors!

After a lot of advice and a lot of laughter, it was time for the ladies to mingle and chat over cupcakes, sweets and more Prosecco.
