We love nothing more than the fun and festivities of Guy Fawkes night here at Just Singles, and what better time of year to get sparks flying with your love life!?

As temperatures dropped this week, it seems Autumn is finally in full swing – but look on the bright side; now’s the best time of year for some successful dating! Think about it. With summer holidays and family BBQs now a distant memory, most people have more free time during the colder months. This means more time to spend online, meeting and arranging dates, as well more free evenings to actually go on dates. Yippee!

So, with that in mind, perhaps you’ve had your eye on someone recently… We bet there’s loads of great bonfire and firework displays happening in your local area this week; so set the romance off with a bang and ask them to go with you! With the warmth of the crackling bonfire, the splendor of the fireworks and the cold air filled with the smell of hot toddies, marshmallows and sausages, can you imagine a more perfect setting for a first date?

You could even warm up afterwards by heading to a nice pub with a log fire. Cosy Autumn dates like these are not only good fun, but will also provide a great relaxed and intimate atmosphere to really get to know one another.

So, if you’ve simply been waiting for the right moment to ask that special someone out, use Guy Fawkes as an excuse – he won’t mind! We’re sure whoever it is will be blown away by the proposition!
