Just Singles On Location: Manchester

Manchester Header

It’s week two of Just Singles On Location and this time we’re taking a look at dating in Manchester…

Daytime

Break the ice with a daytime skiing date. No, really! Manchester’s Chill Factore has the UK’s longest indoor ski slope, perfect for avid skiers, or even first timers to the snow. Just book your session, or a lesson with an instructor and have some fun! Learning something new together or enjoying a shared passion can be a great way to get closer to someone. Just remember your gloves and it’s probably worth running the idea past your date beforehand – activity dates aren’t for everyone!

Evening

If you’re thinking of heading out in the evening, the vibrant Northern Quarter is the place to be. Skip dinner and head straight for dessert at Ginger’s Comfort Emporium. From spiced rum bun ice cream to french toast filled with salted caramel and peanut butter ice cream, fresh banana, raspberry sauce and more peanut butter, you’re bound to find something to keep your taste buds happy… two spoons please! And, if things are going well, make a night of it with cocktails at Dusk Til Pawn. Set in a Grade 2 listed building, this trendy bar is hidden behind vintage guitars and televisions on display in the windows of an old fashioned pawnbroker’s shop. They specialise in bourbon whiskies, the cocktails are some of the best in Manchester and there’s even a free jukebox!

Something Different…

Keep things casual with a game of bowling, but do it in style at the quirky All Star Lanes. Have some fun, order some cocktails, try not to get too competitive and if you manage to really bowl each other over, why not sit down for something to eat afterwards in the American restaurant.

If you like the sound of these date ideas in Manchester but just need someone to date, give Just Manchester Singles a whirl!

Until next time,

The Just Singles Team.
