As the hometown of Banksy, we couldn’t not mention the local street art scene. If you live in Bristol, it’s likely that you regularly walk past the fantastic art covering the walls of the city, without taking it in. Evening

For something slightly more lively, The Lanes has established itself as the “ultimate adult playground”. Complete with five bowling lanes, a pizzeria, pool tables and a karaoke room, you and your date will be entertained for hours (just try not to put them off with your singing!). If all that flirty competition has you a bit peckish The Lanes also holds Ray’s Pizza, famous for its 18” sharing portions.

As the UK’s first cycling city, what better way to explore with your date than on a tandem bike ride. It’s twice as nice, but double the trouble – you and your date will have to work together to make sure you both don’t go flying!
