Just Singles On Location: Belfast

Belfast Header
This week, Just Singles On Location is hitting up Northern Ireland, discovering what exciting date opportunities Belfast has in store for us…

Daytime

If you fancy a laid back day-date in Belfast, then St George’s Market in the city centre could be right up your street! As well as being one of Belfast’s oldest attractions, St George’s Market has been named one of the best markets in the UK! Soak up the atmosphere (and wonderful smells) as you wander around the huge range of local, continental and specialty food stalls, as well as amazing handmade crafts, photography and flowers. With so much to see, you’re bound to have plenty to talk about, and if not, sample some tasty treats and listen to the great local musicians instead!

Evening

If you want to impress, you can’t go far wrong with an evening date at the world famous Merchant Hotel, in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter. Feel like dating royalty as you step inside the Grade A listed building and get to know one another over cocktails in the elegant Cocktail Bar, or even transport yourselves back to the Art Deco glamour of 1930s New York in Berts Jazz Bar. Very cool.

Something Different…

Take the Paranormal Activity tour at The Crumlin Road Gaol and you’ll definitely be feeling a lot closer to each other by the end of your date. Recently reopened as a visitor attraction, The Gaol dates back to 1845 and was a working prison until 1996. This grade A building has a fascinating history and the spooky prison tours make a fun and certainly alternative date idea for anyone wanting to put the thrill back into dating. Put it this way, it’ll either give you loads to talk about after, or you’ll just be left clinging onto each other for comfort… perfect!
