“Immediately, I knew Jayne was the one.”
Not sure whether to send someone a message? So was John when he spotted Jayne. He sent that message, and in his own words, here’s what happened afterwards…
Well, the gods of fate were hard at work, because I wasn’t really looking to find a partner. One Saturday, I was just browsing and saw Jayne. Something in my head told me I needed to do more than ‘Wink’ or make her a ‘Favourite’. She winked back at me and made me a ‘Favourite’ only a couple of hours later, even though she was on holiday in Bali with her best friend! I, of course, did not know that at the time.
Anyway, I decided I would upgrade so that I could send her a message. The next ten days were a constant flow of first messages, and then phone calls. We found out so much about each other! Almost immediately I knew that Jayne was “The One”. She had sent me a photo after we started talking, and I could see in her eyes a new and happier person. We met for lunch the day she flew back to England. We were rather nervous about the physical meeting , but after three hours of non-stop talking between us, and a parting kiss, the nerves faded.
We’ve met twice more since then, and we’re on the phone almost constantly. We laugh, talk and just connect so naturally and easily. We’ve booked so many things to do already. Last night, Jayne told me what I told her last week, and had been waiting to hear from her, those 3 little words – “I Love You”. I never used to believe that anyone could fall in love instantly, how wrong I have been. I have! We have!
