How To: Be Single At Christmas

‘Tis the season for couples? Think again! Singles are taking back Christmas and making it their own. This is how you can join them…

Single All The Way

The first rule of Single At Christmas Club is we are never sad. Wallowing and self pity has no place at Christmas. There is a bright side. One less present to buy. You can choose to spend Christmas with whoever you want, however you want (no in-laws in sight). Embrace the single life and be proud of it. Your status just shows that you’re still waiting for the one.

Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree

Get together with as many friends and family as you can (and can stand.) Surrounding yourself with fellow singles is always a good idea, because it helps you to see that you are not alone. Doing nice things for those in your life will remind you of how lucky you are to have good friends and family.

Dashing Through The Snow

Keep busy, which is never a hard task in the festive season. Lose yourself in your Christmas shopping and drown yourself in decorations. With all that planning you won’t have time to think about anything else.

All I Want For Christmas…

Is you. Treat yourself. Sometimes we get so busy around this time we forget to enjoy ourselves. So schedule in some time for yourself this Christmas.

This Year To Save Me From Tears

Prepare some comebacks to the inevitable “Why are you still single?” questions you will get at family gatherings. Think about all the great things you have achieved this year and use them to change the subject. “I may not have a husband Karen, but did you hear about my Nobel Peace Prize?”

See? There’s snow way that being single at Christmas is a bad thing! Single people are amazing and you can find plenty of them here.

Until next time,
