Beth

When you’re going on a first date, you want to look your best, but you don’t want to compromise who you really are. With the stress of worrying about what he’ll make of you, you need an easy look that you can pull together quickly that will leave you feeling amazing and have him coming back for more.

We all have those moments where we want our hair to look a little different, but just don’t know what to do with it. I’m going to show you 3 easy peasy first date hairstyles you can pull together in 5 steps that will have him eating out of the palm of your hand.

Hollywood Starlet

Hollywood

The look you’re going for is all out glam and you need the hair to match. Your date’s taking place in a posh restaurant and you want the ‘wow’ factor.

1. Dry your hair using a round brush to create lots of volume in the roots of your hair.
2. When your hair is still damp, apply a volume enhancing mousse gently with the tips of your fingers to the roots.
3. Continue to blow dry your hair until it completely dries.
4. Curl your hair in sections using hair straighteners.
5. Once your hair is curled all over, brush through to create sexy Hollywood waves. Now tuck one side behind the ear and spray with hairspray to complete the look.

Flirty Side Pony

SidePony

You’re rocking the “I just threw this on” look and you’re heading somewhere casual for your date. This is a simple hairstyle that’s flirty and sassy, with just the right amount of pretty and really easy to re-create.

1. Curl your hair loosely and brush as in look one.
2. Sweep all of your hair to one side and secure with a clear elastic bobble. If you have any loose sections you can use grips to control these.
3. Pull a few girly side pieces of hair out to loosen the look.
4. Back comb the pony slightly to give it an unfinished look.
5. Spray with hairspray and you’re ready to rock!

Half Up Half Down

You want him to notice those big beautiful eyes of yours and whisper you sweet nothings. Your date is intimate, but low key. This is the perfect style to keep your hair out of your face and keep all the attention on those pretty peepers of yours!

1. Curl your hair loosely and brush as in look one.
2. Take the upper layer of your hair and split into two.
3. Plait each side and secure with a clear bobble.
4. Loop the plaits around the back of your head and secure with grips.
5. Spray the look with hairspray and finish.
